Xi Zeta Delta enjoy gift exchange

Each year members of Xi Zeta Delta, Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, gather to enjoy finger foods, fellowship and gift exchange from Beta Buddies.  On December 12, this event took place in the home of Ginger Savage, with Linda Andresen providing the dessert.  

The following members assembled bringing a food for the evening:  Suzanne Walker, Sharon Hodges, Wanda Baker, Brenda Morgan, Pam Patrick, Rose Trotter, Mary Fern Carpenter, Becky Newlin, Cheryl Shields, Vicki Chambers, Linda Andresen and Ginger Savage.

President, Sharon Hodges, conducted a short business meeting.  She noted that next month’s meeting will be in the home of Vicki Chambers with Rose Trotter serving as her Co-Hostess. Vicki will provide the program.  She reminded us that we will be voting for Valentine Queen at this meeting on January 9, 2012.

Food and fellowship followed the meeting.  To our delight, Matt Mackey played the piano and Suzanne Walker sang for us. Then Beta Buddy thanks were given for past gifts.  Members then were instructed that everyone would open their Christmas gift at the same time and then thanks would be expressed by last name in reverse order of the alphabet.  That effort, in itself, was an entertaining program!  We all felt blessed and delighted with our gifts.
